Directions

1. In medium saucepan, heat granulated sugar over medium heat while stirring periodically. The sugar should start to clump before melting into an amber liquid.
2. Once the sugar is melted without any clumps, remove from heat and carefully pour in the heavy cream. It should bubbly and the cream will form a 'crust' over the caramel. Stir until they are mixed together well.
3. Stir in the butter and salt (still removed from heat). 
4. After well mixed, allow it to cool in the saucepan. Wait until its about room temperature before pouring it into a container. Enjoy!
